COVID REMOTE LEARNING AND THE CLASSROOM
I have, over the years, worked with all of the platforms represented by the logos above. However, the tool I have found most useful and utilitarian for remote classroom interaction, multi-participant communication and remote teaching/learning is Zoom. Zoom provides an intuitive interface and multi-camera facility that allows me to work with students remotely, effectively presenting lectures, technical demonstrations, screen sharing, board work and practical virtual hands-on demonstrations of hardware. This year, I converted a complete face-to-face curriculum to an online program. From March through July, my classes were completely remote and my students' exam results through that time were exemplary.
