I have created in Maya, 3D Studio Max, E-On Software's Vue, Blender and Maxon Studio's Cinema 4D (C4D). I use Adobe After effects for motion graphics including tracking and stabilization. Vue is an outstanding platform for creating beautiful CG environments. While each of these platforms are excellent, I use C4D as my 'go to' animation platform. It allows me to create worlds that are physically very accurate and visually stunning. Below are links to some animation samples.
This is a collection of Space Flight clips I created for exhibition in museums, for documentary films, for education and for entertainment. While I used Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to assemble the work, my principal platform was Cinema 4D. Click on Image to see video

These are clips I developed mostly as teaching tools in my animation classes. The goal in animating motion, collisions, rigging and objects that are subject to force fields is to get the physics right. We are intuitive beings and if something doesn't behave in a 'physical' way, then we are suspicious and drawn out of the experience. Click on image to see video
