I produced this video, produced in 2023, as an introduction video productions basics. Click on image to view.
I use this series of clips in my film classes to motivate broader thinking and a global perspective. I contains media I shot, ranging from Alaska to Zanzibar, From Oman to the Badlands of Montana. Click on the image to view the vide. This video is one of many teaching animations I created using Cinema 4D. It is an introduction to three point lighting and I designed it to convey the basic elements of lighting while stimulating further class discussion and practical learning. |

I made this animation as a starting place in the discussion of focal length, aperture and imager (film) size and their effect on perspective, depth of field and overall sensation imparted on the viewer. We choose lenses to force the viewer to see what we want them to see and perceive. Click on image to view. |
